No sooner ______ they rushed out into the street.

                 A. did they hear the news than B. did they hear the news when
                 C. had they heard the news than D. had they heard the news when

                 heard the news than,需将had提前构成倒装,故选C。

                 (3)as/though引导的让步状语从句

Professional as / though he is, he sometimes can make mistakes.

【真题演练】 _________, he has traveled by himself half of the countries in the world.(2003专升本)
                 A. He is young B. As young he is C. Young as he is D. Young he is

【模拟演练】 _________ she is, she still helps her mother with housework.

                 A. As busy B. Busy as C. Busy although D. Although busy

                 (4)在so/such...that从句中,so/such位于句首

                 在so/such...that(如此...
So quietly did he speak that nobody could hear him.
Such a clever boy is he that everyone likes him.
