（2）用without引导含蓄条件句
例如： We would not live without water or air.
没有水和空气，我们就不能生存。
相当于：We would not live if there were no water or air.

（3）用otherwise（否则）引导含蓄条件句
例如： I was ill that day, otherwise, I would have attended the meeting.
我那天生病了，否则我就去参加了会议。
相当于：If I had not been ill that day, I would have attended the meeting.

2. It is (high/about) time that +从句

加动词原形，但should不可省略。
例如： It is time that the students went to bed.

= It is high time that the students should go to bed.
该是学生们睡觉的时候了。
