【对点解密】
1.定义
状语从句在整个复合句中充当状语成分，相当于副词的作用。状语从句中的从句可以修饰谓语、
非谓语动词、定语、状语或整个句子。
状语从句根据其作用可分为时间、地点、原因、条件、目的、结果、让步、方式和比较等从句。
状语从句一般由连词引导，也可以由词组引起。从句位于句首或句中时通常用逗号与主句隔开，
位于句尾时可以不用逗号隔开。
2.常用从属引导词
（1）常用连词

1. 时间状语从句 hardly…when, no sooner…than, the first time, the moment, each time, every time, directly,
immediately, instantly，as long as, ......
2. 原因状语从句 because, as, since, now that, for the reason that, ......
3. 地点状语从句 where, wherever, anywhere, everywhere, ......
4. 条件状语从句 if, unless, as long as, providing/provided, suppose/supposing(that), in case , ......
although, though, as, even though/ if, whether…or, 疑问词 +ever 或 no matter +wh- 疑问词，
5. 让步状语从句
granted（that）, ......
6. 目的状语从句 in order that, so that, for the purpose that, for fear that, in case ，lest ,......
7. 结果状语从句 so that, so…that, such that, such…that,......
8. 方式状语从句 as, just as, (in) the way (that), as if, as though,......
9. 比较状语从句 as…as, not so…as, than, the more… the more, as…so,......
（2）状语从句类型的判断，一般通过逻辑进行判断，选择相应的连接词。
例如：
I was late for class because I got up late.
我上课迟到了，因为我起晚了。
说明：
从主从句的关系可以看出，从句是在说明迟到的原因，所以用表示原因的从属连词“because”。
After I had had a class, I ate lunch.
在我上完一节课后，我吃了午饭。
从主从句的关系可以看出，从句是在表明主句谓语动词发生的时间，通过从句的时态是过去完成
时可以判断从句的动作在主句的动作发生之前，所以用表示时间的从属连词“after”。
