二、动词短语辨析

1.动词与宾语或宾补共同构成短语
（1）只接不定式作宾语的10个常用动词
①manage to do sth. 设法做成某事
They managed to escape the disaster this morning.

今天早上他们在这场灾难中设法逃脱了。
②offer to do sth. 主动提出做某事
Never offer to teach fish to swim.

别在强人面前逞能。
③afford to do sth. 负担得起做某事（时间或金钱方面）
We can’t afford to go to London next week.
今年夏天我们没有足够的钱去伦敦。

④arrange to do sth. 安排做某事
I arrange to do the laundry tomorrow afternoon.
我安排好明天下午洗衣服。

⑤beg to do sth. 恳求做某事
He begged not to take medicine.
他祈求不要吃药。
⑥demand to do sth. 要求做某事
I demand to do the marketing work next month.

我要求下个月去做营销工作。
⑦determine to do sth. 决心做某事
He determined to learn Chinese.

他下定决心学习法语。
⑧pretend to do sth. 伪装做某事
She pretended not to see Mike.
她假装没有看到迈克。
⑨promise to do sth. 答应做某事
I promised to give the children some sweets.

我答应给孩子们一些糖果了。
⑩refuse to do sth. 拒绝做某事
She refused to buy a new bag for her boy.

她拒绝给她儿子买新包。

①finish doing sth. 结束做某事
I have finished doing my homework.

我已经完成家庭作业了。
②risk doing sth. 冒险做某事
