八、过去进行时

1. 含义：过去某个时间正在进行的动作。
常考的时间状语：when与while+一般过去时。

易错点：①at that time/moment
②at this time+过去时间（at this time yesterday）

③at+具体时刻+过去（at two last Sunday）
④过去时间段（from five to six last night）
2. 结构：主语+was/were+动词-ing形式

易混点：过去进行时和现在进行时动词变化规律相同。
口诀：①一动加-ing；②见e去e加-ing；③遇ie变y加-ing；④重读辅与辅双写尾字母加-ing。
eg: I in the street when (时间状语) someone called (一般过去时) me.

当有人打电话给我时，我正在街上散步。
A. walk B. walked C. have walked D. was walking

解析：walk（一般现在时）、walked（一般过去时）、have walked（现在完成时）、was walking（过去进
行时），故选D。
