第五节 定语从句

（中高考常考点：先行词）
1. 含义：在复合句中修饰某一名词或代词的从句叫定语从句，被修饰的名词或代词叫先行词。定语从
句一般放在先行词后面，引导定语从句的关系代词有that，which，who，whom，whose，关系副词有
where，when与why。

2. that做关系代词常考类型：（中高考常考点）（易错易混点）
（1）先行词是any, some, little, all, much, everything, anything, nothing, something, none, the one等不定代词
时，只能用that。
eg: Is there anything（先行词）that I can do for you? 我可以为你做些什么吗？

（2）先行词前有the only，the very，the last等词修饰时，只能用that。
eg: He is the last person（先行词）that I want to see. 他是我最不想见的人。
（3）先行词中既有人又有物，只能用that。
eg: I can remember well the persons and some pictures（先行词中既有人又有物）that I saw in the room. 我能

清楚记得我在房间里看到的那些人和一些照片。
（4）先行词前有最高级或序数词修饰，只能用that。
eg: English is the most difficult subject（先行词前有形容词最高级修饰时）that you will learn during these
years. 英语是这些年来你要学的最难的科目。

The first movie（先行词前有序数词修饰时）that I saw is Shaolin Temple. 我看的第一部电影是《少林寺》。
（5）（易混点）关系代词that既可指人，又可指物，指物时可与which互换，指人时可与who互换。
eg: —Has everything（先行词） （关系代词）we need to do been done?
我们需要做的一切都做完了吗?

—Yes. You needn’t worry about it.
是的，你不用担心它。

解析：考查定语从句。在定语从句中，当先行词是everything时，关系代词用that。故选C。
